Soona’s Spring Serenade

Soona

Greetings Soonaphiles!

Ghost Dog here, hoping you are enjoying the increasing daylight and putting it to good use… victory garden perhaps?

Here at Soona central we are taking advantage of the season to update a few things – the web site in particular. With any luck, you will be reading this on the new one!

First a word from Esteemed CEO:
We have available at the Soona Songs Store a remarkable collection of first editions! Consider investing in these soon to be very valuable collectors items… also good for Mother’s Day gifting. Thank you

In the spirit of new things (at least for us), we released Markley & Balmer’s version of “House of the Rising Sun” as a single to the Folk DJs. It is the final cut on their album, Standards & Covers, which was distributed to the Jazz DJs. We are hoping this amazing version, arranged and played by Bruce Balmer, and sung by Lisa Markley, will get some much deserved airplay.

The Malvinas (Beth Cahill, Gina Forsyth, and Lisa Markley) completed a successful spring tour of the Midwest… Iowa to Rich Warren’s Folk Stage in Chicago. Ghost Dog recommends catching these talented women whenever you can. You won’t be sorry!

Esteemed CEO and man-of-many-talents, Graham Duncan are strategizing next steps here at Soona Songs. Watch this space to see what they come up with.
