Greetings Soonaphiles,
Ghost Dog here, getting us off to a somewhat late start (judging by the decorations already up) for the coming season. Since Halloween has passed by, we will begin our days of celebration with Veteran’s Day, then on to Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Advent, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Christmas, Boxing Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day, and the big finish on Martin Luther King’s Birthday!
Esteemed CEO hopes we haven’t missed any possibilities for gifting in our holiday list. Please check out our store, where you will find albums on actual CDs for sale, ready to wrap up (please put in the notes if you want us to do it) and give to someone who still has a CD player! There are downloads too, but they are more difficult to gift wrap.
To give you comfort as we approach the coming darkness, we have found some mostly cheerful Soona Snacks to share:
-
From The Malvinas’ latest album,
God Bless the Grass, “How Can I Keep From Singing”
Download MP3
-
From Marilyn Duncan’s latest album, Little Blue Car, “Hillside”
Download MP3
-
From Radiophonic’s next to latest album,
I Could Have Been a Rocket Scientist, “Wonder Boy”
Download MP3
Meanwhile, as we are entering this season of shameless marketing, we still wish you light in the darkness, warmth in the cold, and the love of friends and family. And thanks for supporting independent music, especially ours!
Soona
